Storage & Handling
Store Sodium Iodide in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area. Keep the container tightly closed when not in use and protect the product from moisture and contamination. Sodium Iodide is hygroscopic and can absorb moisture from the atmosphere, so minimizing exposure to humid air is important.
Follow the storage conditions specified in the applicable Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
Safety Information
Handle Sodium Iodide using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including protective gloves, safety goggles, and suitable protective clothing. Avoid inhalation of dust and contact with skin and eyes.
Use appropriate ventilation when handling powdered material and avoid unnecessary generation of airborne dust. Always refer to the latest Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for the exact grade before handling, transporting, or using the product.
